Mrs. Eloise Hyde Ahrens, 95, years young, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Monday, Dec. 26, 2011 in a Ft. Worth hospital.
She was born Sept. 7, 1916, in Kerr County, TX to Hiram P. Hyde and Mattie Johnson Hyde.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Guenther and her son, Kenneth.
Survivors include daughter, Cathy Sweeney; grandchildren, Kendra Tatsch, Kra Ahrens, Paula Garza and Lisa Ryan; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret White and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Dec. 30, at 1 p.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville. Interment followed at Sunset Cemetery at Mountain Home, TX.
