Eloise Herrington
Eloise Herrington, 85, of Ellisville, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at Jones County Rest Home in Ellisville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Ellisville Funeral Home, with burial in Ellisville Cemetery. Rev. Frankie Clark and Jimmy Dale Dobson will officiate.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ellisville and WMU. She loved growing flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Annie Thornton; husband, George F. Herrington; a son, George D. Herrington; brothers, A. F. Thornton, Joe Thornton and James Thornton; sisters, Nancy Leaser and Mary Dobson.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Perry and Margaret Herrington of Ellisville; daughter-in-law, Shirley Herrington of Vicksburg; grandchildren, John Herrington, Jolyn Williamson, Vonda Powell, Deana Herrington, Burt Herrington and Billy Bostick; great-grandchildren, Shelby Williamson and George Powell.
Pallbearers will be John Herrington, Burt Herrington, Billy Bostick, Tony Powell, Terry Bryant and Wiley Bryant. Honorary pallbearer is Wayne Smith.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2010, at Ellisville Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
