MOORE, ELOISE WHITTINGTON
A retired nurse at Field Memorial Hospital, Centreville, Miss., she died Monday, Dec. 14, 1998, at her residence in Liberty, Miss.
She was 68, born Aug 8, 1930, in Amite County, Miss. Visiting was at Brown Funeral Home, Liberty, 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Visiting at the funeral home, 9:30 a.m. until religious services at 1 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Ernest Whittington. Interment in New Hope Cemetery.
Survived by a daughter, Freda Neyland, Liberty; three grandchildren, Richie Carraway, Tammy Carraway and Michelle Carraway; a sister, Ercelle Dimaio and her husband, Nick J. Dimaio, Baton Rouge; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, Fred Moore; mother, Virgie Sterling Whittington Cox; father, Shelly C. Whittington; a sister, Ione Walsh; and a brother, Wayne Whittington.
Pallbearers will be George Riley Walsh Jr., Warren Walsh, Richie Carraway, Johnny Waldrep, Keith Felder and Scottie Whittington.
She was a member of Enterprise Baptist Church. She received her training at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg, Miss.
She was a nurse at Jones Junior College before moving to Liberty.
After moving to Liberty, she joined the team at Field Memorial Hospital and was employed there until retirement in 1992.
