Mrs. Elouise Bass

JONESVILLE -- Funeral services were held today at 3 p.m. at Lake Lilly Baptist Church near here for Mrs. Elouise Y. Bass, 82, of Jonesville. The Rev. Frank Bass and Rev. C. B. Renfrow officiated.

Burial was in Heard Cemetery near Manifest under the direction of Young's Funeral Home of here.

Mrs. Bass died Saturday at Catahoula Parish Hospital here after a lengthy illness.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Cascio of Monroe and Mrs. Myrtle Wright of Alexandria; two sons, Budrow Bass and Hearse Bass, both of Jonesville; two brothers, Dock Young and Colley [sic Cooley] Young, both of Aimwell; 16 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
