Elra J. Brady

Funeral services for Elra James Brady, 66, of 624 Olive St., West Monroe, were at 2 p.m. today at Mulhearn's Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Ezra Murphy and Herman Saterfield officiating.

Burial was in Concord Cemetery near Chatham.

He died in Glenwood Hospital Saturday following a long illness. He was a native of Chatham and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Marie Brady of West Monroe; two sons, Bert Brady of West Monroe and Shirley Bill Brady of Arlington, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Norma Roberts of West Monroe, and Mrs. Cherry Boudreaux of Baton Rouge; a brother, Dewey Brady of Woodland, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Benoit, of Lafayette and Mrs. Maurine Redden and Mrs. Marie Sims, both of West Monroe, and 17 grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Jerry Boudreaux, B. F. Oglesbee, W. L. Oglesbee, Leon Henry, R. H. Henry and Cecil Martin.
