CRUM

Elsie Glover Crum of Fleming Island, FL, died February 25, 2013 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Jacksonville, FL, on March 21, 1948, Elsie graduated from Paxon High School in 1966 and Huntingdon College in 1970.

Predeceased by her father, Alva Glover, Elsie is survived by her husband of 41 years, George T. Crum; children, Suzanne Roberson and Matthew Crum; grandchildren, Chris, Dallas and Chloe; mother, Jessie E. Atkinson; father-in-law, Floyd M. Crum; brother, William C. Glover; sisters, Pearl Boles (Grady), Barbara Glover, Jennie and Marilyn Atkinson and Marlene Garberson (Gary); and numerous other family members.

A devoted wife, mother, school teacher and church organist, Elsie's light and love will live in our hearts forever. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013, 11 a.m., at Dinsmore United Methodist Church, 10604 Iowa Avenue, Jacksonville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Haven Hospice or the Dinsmore United Methodist Church.
