Mrs. Elsie L. Emmons

FOREST -- Mrs. Elsie Lee Emmons, 86, died Tuesday at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans. Services are 10 a.m. Friday at Ott & Lee Funeral Home chapel with burial at Harperville Cemetery in Scott County.

She had lived in Ponchatoula, La. for the past year before moving to Forest recently. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Pat Emmons of Ponchatoula, La.; daughter, Mrs. Sue McNair of Ponchatoula, La.; brother, Jethro Emmons [sic Williams] of Jackson; sister, Mrs. Gladys Crafton of Olive Branch; and nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
