Elvin Gains Buchan

Elvin Gains Buchan, 65, of Little Rock, Ark., formerly of Crowville, were held on June 20, in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

Interment was in Crowville Masonic Cemetery with the Rev. Marion Collier and the Rev. Joe Senn officiating.

A former resident of Crowville, he had lived in Little Rock for many years. He was a veteran of World War II and was a disabled veteran. He died on June 18, 1989, following a lengthy illness.

Survivors include two brothers, Ezra Buchan and C. J. Buchan, both of Crowville; one sister, Ethel Pierce, Winnsboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Kenneth Peters, Daniel Buchan, Lynn Buchan, Jerry Pierce, Vernon Wolf and Elbert Rayborn.
