MRS. JAMES MIDDLETON

Mrs. James (Elver) Middleton, 57, Rt. 1, Heidelberg, died unexpectedly Saturday in a Laurel hospital.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday from the chapel of Memory Chapel with the Revs. Dee Parker and Rupert Blue officiating. Burial will be in the Hinton Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Survivors include her husband, James Herman Middleton; five daughters: Mrs. Otho Toombs, Mrs. Tommy Oakes, both of Pasadena, Tex.; Mrs. C. T. Cochran, Euless, Tex.; Mrs. Cecil Ward of Laurel, and Miss Paula Middleton, Rt. 1, Heidelberg; ten sons: Thomas R. of Soso; Rufus L. of Rt. 2, Heidelberg; Sgt. Billy R. of Alexandria, Va.; James H. Jr., Channelview, Tex.; Bobby Joe, Heidelberg; Donald E. and Robert T., both of Rt. 6, Laurel; Charles R. of Laurel; PFC. Richard Earl of Berlin, Germany, and Dennis Wayne Middleton of Rt. 1, Heidelberg; 28 grandchildren; and two sisters: Mrs. Edward Sholtis of Ellisville, and Mrs. Ezell Hancock, Rt. 6, Laurel.
