BURDEN, E.G., 82, of Indianapolis, Ind., passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at his residence. Mr. Burden was born in Columbia, Tenn., the son of the late Elvin G. and Margaret Tyree Burden Sr. He was a driver for a trucking company and served active duty for four years with the Tennessee Army National Guard.
He is survived by his companion, Mildred A. Jackson, Indianapolis; two daughters, Geneva Stewart, Terre Haute, Ind., and Rebecca Hill, Pendleton, Ind.; two sons, Elvin D. Burden, Indianapolis, and Edward F. Burden, Brooksville, Fla.; two brothers, Donald F. Burden, Cookeville, and Marion F. Burden, Anchorage, Ala. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many cousins.
Visitation with the family will be held at Tullahoma Funeral Home beginning at noon Monday, April 9, until time for a graveside service at 2 p.m. at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
