Mrs. Emily Collins Dies at Her Home Near Fort Valley

Funeral Services at Fort Valley; Interment in Howard Cemetery.

Funeral services were conducted in Rooks Funeral Home, Ft. Valley at 3 p.m., March 2nd, for Mrs. Emily Taunton Collins, 68, who died Feb. 28th at her residence near [Fort] Valley.

Mrs. Collins was born and reared in Taylor county but had resided near Fort Valley for a number of years.

The funeral was conducted by Rev. B. J. Reeves and Rev. Green. Interment was in Howard cemetery [in] Taylor County.

Survivors include her husband Mr. B. C. Collins; one daughter, Mrs. Paul Jones, Howard; three sons, C. B. and H. D. Collins, Fort Valley, and W. D. Collins, Henderson; two sisters, Mrs. J. E. Cox, LaGrange, and Mrs. E. L. Jenkins, Reidsville; and three brothers, Messrs Allen Taunton, Reynolds; A. J. Taunton, Miami, Fla.; and G. N. Taunton, of Butler.
