DIED

SHOWS -- At the family residence, Melville, La., Thursday, Oct. 26, 1939, at 4:30 p.m., Mrs. Emma T. Shows, 80. The deceased is survived by one son, Rev. N. T. Shows of Meeker. There are also seven grandchildren surviving.

The funeral procession was to have left the family residence at 1 p.m. today and proceed to the Lottie Baptist church for services. Services were to have been held at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Lottie, La., Baptist cemetery under the direction of Morgan Brothers.
