WINNFIELD RESIDENT IS BURIED THURSDAY

WINNFIELD, Oct. 10.--(Special)--Funeral services for Mrs. R. W. Buce, 70, wife of a former mayor of Winnfield, were held at 3 p. m. yesterday at the Winnsboro Baptist Church with the Rev. H. H. McBride, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Winnfield.

Interment was made in the Winnfield cemetery under the direction of the Southern Funeral home.

Mrs. Buce, in poor health for the past several years, died Wednesday night at Bastrop, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bowden False [sic Folse], where she lived for the past year.

Survivors besides her husband and Mrs. False [sic Folse], include two other daughters, Mrs. M. C. Miller, of Louisville, Miss., and Mrs. J. B. Flippen, of Shreveport; five sisters, Mrs. All Calven [sic A. H. Colvin] of Jonesboro, Mrs. W. R. Sharman, Mrs. K. C. Hightower, of Dodson, Mrs. John Langley, of Martville, and Mrs. Gordie Hegler [sic Hagler], of Oakdale; two brothers, L. L. Jones of Birmingham, Ala., and J. F. Jones [sic I. T. Jones], of Waco, Texas.

Pallbearers were Eli Harrell, present mayor of Winnsboro, City Alderman Harper Terral, Deputy Sheriff Lewis Shoulders, William Kirkpatrick, W. H. Bass, and W. L. Sowers.
