Miss Emma Whittington

Funeral services for Miss Emma Whittington, 84, of Columbia were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Riser & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.'s Larry Adkins & K. D. Mills officiating.

Burial followed in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, west of Columbia.

Miss Whittington died Friday at the Citizens Medical Center after a long illness.

Survivors include two sisters, Miss Maggie Whittington of Columbia, and Mrs. Alice Nelson of Grayson; host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Jimmy Whittington, Elbert Lee Pauley, David Whittington, Larry Nelson, Harry Whittington, and Richard Whittington.
