Emma Octavia Ainsworth (Richey)
December 23, 1940 - February 6, 2015

Funeral Services for Emma Octavia Ainsworth, 74 of Enterprise, LA will be Monday February 9, 2015 at 1 pm at New Ouachita Baptist Church in Enterprise, LA. Bro. James King and Bro. Perry Gardner will be officiating. Interment will follow the service at Rosefield Cemetery in Rosefield, LA, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home-Jonesville, LA.

Mrs. Ainsworth was born December 23, 1940 to William and Lillie Richey in Catahoula Parish. She passed away peacefully February 6, 2015. Mrs. Ainsworth was retired after working 23 years as a bus driver for Catahoula Parish School System. She was an avid hunter. She has four sons and one daughter and every year it was Miss Emma who killed the largest deer in their family.

Mrs. Ainsworth is preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Ainsworth and her parents.

She is survived by son, Lavell and his wife, Brenda of Enterprise, LA; son, Cleve and his wife Deb of Enterprise; daughter Lynette and her husband Gary Hebert of Sicily Island, LA; son, Bill and wife Sandra of Manifest, LA; son, Jeff and wife, Teresa of Enterprise; Ten grandchildren, Karrie Koster, Adam Ainsworth, Michael Ainsworth, Jamey Ainsworth, Jesse Ainsworth, Derek Ainsworth, Andy Townsend, Devon Smith, Kayla Ainsworth, and Connor Ainsworth; she is survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Kerry Richey and one sister, Lila Mae Shipley.

Pallbearers are her grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers are Andy Townsend, Gary Hebert and Darren Shipley.

The family will receive friends Sunday, February 8 at Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville, LA from 5 pm until 8 pm. The family request any memorials be made to The Baptist Children's Home or St. Jude Children's Hospital. To leave an online condolence please visit www.youngsfh.com.
