Emma Oletta Emmons
December 8, 1914 - September 2, 2009

Emma Oletta Emmons, age 94, was born in Livingston, Texas, on December 8, 1914 and went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, September 2, 2009.

Mrs. Emmons was a seamtress, loved to cook and spend time in her garden.. She loved the Lord and was a member of First Baptist Church for 81 years.

She is survived by numerous family members and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Lois E. Emmons, her daughter, Gay Laneine Emmons, whom she took loving care of for years and her parents, Hamilton and Stella Mae Fowler Monroe.

The services were held Friday, September 4, 2009 at Pace Funeral Home with Pastor Orval Barger officiating. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation was held at Pace Funeral Home, Thursday, September 3, 2009 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM.
