Mrs. Emma Weeks

ALEXANDRIA (Special) -- Mrs. Emma Peters Weeks, 81, of Winnfield, died Tuesday in a Alexandria hospital after a long illness.

Funeral services were to be held 1 p.m. today at Southern Funeral Home Chapel at Winnfield with the Rev. Jack Pinnin officiating.

Burial was to be in Winnfield Cemetery by Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Surviving are four sons, E. A. Weeks Jr. of Jonesboro, Joe R. Weeks of Alexandria, James J. Weeks of Baton Rouge and Charles Weeks of Saugus, Calif.; three daughters, Miss Marjorie Weeks and Miss Dorothy Weeks, both of Alexandria and Mrs. Frank Chapman of Cody, Wyo.; a brother, John J. Peters of Winnfield; four sisters, Mrs. Josie Matthews of Winnfield, Mrs. A. V. Cox and Mrs. E. C. Simonton, both of Shreveport and Mrs. H. C. Collier of Baton Rouge and a number of grandchildren.
