Emmett Rutan, Ship Carpenter, Dies At 75

Emmett Rutan, 75, former ship carpenter with the Bayboro Marine Ways, died yesterday in a local restorium. He formerly lived at 214 16th Street North.

Mr. Rutan was born in Freeport, Fla., and came here in 1919.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. George J. Troffer, Sarasota; three sons, Dell, Doyle and Juell, a Times employe, all here; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Wahl, and Miss Mary Rutan, both of Freeport.
