Erie C. Woolsey
Erie C. Woolsey, 67 [sic 76], died this morning in the Tulia Nursing Home at Tulia.
Funeral services are pending with LaGrone Funeral Chapel at Canyon.
Mr. Woolsey, who came here in 1941, from Ellis County, was the retired owner of the 87 Cafe and had also farmed. He and his wife, Rosa Lee, were married April 28, 1914, in Milford. Mrs. Woolsey died in 1965.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Erbie Powell of Happy and Mrs. Margaret Cole of Dallas; three sons, Harold of 2201 6th Ave., in Canyon, Kenneth of Mansfield and Donald R. of 1516 Maple in Amarillo; a brother, Mike of Hereford; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Mann and Mrs. Eddie Reed, both of Pampa, and Mrs. Dale Mitchell of Livermore, Calif., 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

HAPPY -- Funeral services for Erie C. Woolsey, 76, of Happy, who died Wednesday in a Tulia nursing home, were to be at 2 p.m. today in the LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Canyon.
The Rev. Irving Looney, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Happy, was to officiate. Burial was to be in Happy Cemetery.
The retired owner of Highway 87 Cafe, Mr. Woolsey moved to Happy in 1941 from Ellis County.
