Erma Barfield

BUTLER -- Services for Erma Taunton Barfield will be at 11 a.m. today in Bethel Primitive Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Barfield, 87, died Wednesday, March 10, 1999. Born in Taylor County, she was the daughter of the late William and Annie Theus Taunton. She was a retired schoolteacher and a member of the Retired Teachers Association.

Survivors include her daughter, Lynda Lewis of Lawrenceville; brother and sister, Tellie Taunton and Euna Locke, both of Butler; and a grandchild.

Memorials may be made to Bethel Primitive Baptist Church in Butler. Edwards Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
