DIER, ERMA W.

Died Monday, Jan. 24, 1994, at 10:30 a.m. at Baker Manor. She was 92, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Liberty, MS. Visiting was held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel, 10 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Interment in Baton Rouge National Cemetery.

Survived by two daughters, Jackie Dier Sanchez and Laverne Dier Barbari, both of Baton Rouge; four sons, Herman Dier, Walker, Rodney Dier, Baton Rouge, Joseph Dier, Walker, and Earl Dier, Baker; a sister, Johnnie Killan [sic Kellam], Gloster, MS; a brother, Hollis Whittington, Truman, AK [sic Trumann, AR]; 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by husband, Elisha Dier; a grandson, Broderick Dier; and a granddaughter, Katherine Mizell.
