Ernest Lee Cody

BUSHTON -- Ernest Lee Cody, 74, died Feb. 25 at Central Kansas Medical Center. Born Jan. 31, 1912, in Clark[s], La., he had been a Buston and Claflin area resident since 1946. He was a retired farmer.

Cody was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church in Bushton and the Knights of Columbus in Claflin.

Survivors include one son, Ernie of Fullerton, Calif.; one sister, Hazel of Fort Ord, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Parish rosary will be at 7:30 tonight followed by Knights of Columbus rosary both at Kimple Funeral Home in Ellinwood. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church with the Rev. James L. Roth officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. [Friends] may call until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association.
