Ernestine Arnold Cater

MEADVILLE -- Services for Ernestine Arnold Cater, 65, of Natchez, who died Monday, Feb. 19, 2001, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. today at Praise Cathedral Church. Burial will be in the Midway Cemetery in Meadville under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home. Visitation is from 9 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Cater was born Sept. 11, 1935, the daughter of Ernest Arnold and Pernie Freeman Arnold. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of God.

Mrs. Cater was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her husband, James Cater of Natchez; two sons, Carroll Cater of Natchez and Pee Wee Arnold of Bude; one daughter, Cynthia Woodyear of Roxie; three brothers, Roger Dale Arnold of Liberty, Rodney Arnold of Meadville and B.J. Arnold of Knoxville; one sister, Pauline Thornton of Meadville; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one uncle, Jim Arnold of Meadville.
