JENA -- Funeral services for E. E. Ford, 74, of Manifest were to be at 10 a.m. today at the Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church in Sandy Lake with the Rev. Paul Pruitt and the Rev. W. D. Thompson officiating.
Burial was to follow in Heard Cemetery in Manifest under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.
Mr. Ford died Wednesday at his home after a brief illness.
He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Littie [sic Lettie] Creel Ford of Manifest; four sons, D. C. Ford and Alton Ford, both of Jonesville, Henry E. Ford of Manifest and Daniel Ford of Ferriday; one daughter, Mrs. Laurie Netherland of Marrero; one brother, Theodore Ford of Jonesville; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Harris of Jonesville and Mrs. Effie Smith of Newellton; 21 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
