Faye Roberts

NEW ALBANY -- Esna Faye Roberts, 79, died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007, at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was born Oct. 11, 1927, in DeRidder, La., to the late Waldon Allen Cooley and Mary Reid Cooley. She was a seamstress at Blue Bell in Ripley. She was a Baptist and a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at United Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Harold Adair officiating. Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Jamie L. Roberts of New Albany; one daughter, Ann Adair (Harold) of Tupelo; five sons, Allen Roberts, Lance Roberts (Elaine), Mitchell Roberts (Norma) and David Roberts (Debbie), all of New Albany, and Glen Roberts (Pat) of Tupelo; 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tim Adair, Kenny Roberts, Jeff Roberts, Tim Shackleford, Jason Roberts, Josh Roberts, Shay Roberts, Adam Roberts and Cody Roberts.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Fowler, Gil Medina, Scott Fears, Daniel Patterson, Matt Foster, Michael Roberts, Tracy Burns and Gene Johnson.
