Mrs. Wroten

Funeral services for Essie McCarty Wroten, 63, of Crowville, were held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 29th, in Crockett Point Baptist Church with Rev. John Williams and Rev. Marion Collier officiating.

Interment was in Crowville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

Survivors include her husband, W. A. Wroten, Crowville; three sons, Mike Wroten of Crowville, and Sheron Wroten and Bobby Wroten, both of Rayville; one daughter, Marilyn Thomas of Jigger; two sisters, Vaudie Yates and Audrey Eldridge, both of Crowville; and his (should be her) mother, Mrs. Lou McCarty of Crowville; and 3 grandchildren.
