ESTELLE JENKINS

Estelle Jenkins, 90, of Waynesboro, formerly of Laurel, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2004 at Magnolia Haven Personal Care in Waynesboro. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. tomorrow at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel with burial in the Antioch Cemetery, Lower Myrick Rd. in Laurel. The Rev. Charles Gordon and Brad Smith will officiate.

She was a resident of Jones County for 62 years and was an active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She retired from Arthur's Men's Store in alterations. She was a member of Antioch Home Demonstration Club and a 4-H leader for 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Willard Turner Jenkins.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Betsy Jenkins of Danville, Calif.; her daughter and son-in-law, Dee and Ned Robertson of Metairie, La.; her grandchildren, James Robertson II of Marerro, La., Rene Kleker of Prosper, Texas and Turner Jenkins of San Diego; and her great-grandchild, Rachel Kleker of Prosper, Texas.

Visitation will begin 9 a.m. tomorrow at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, which is in charge of arrangements.

WAYNESBORO - Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel for Estelle Jenkins, 90, of Waynesboro, formerly of Laurel, who died Sept. 26, 2004, at Magnolia Haven Personal Care.

Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Laurel.

Mrs. Jenkins was a retired seamstress for Arthur's Men's Store and a 4-H leader for 50 years.

Survivors include a son, Tom Jenkins of Danville, Calif.; a daughter, Dee Robertson of Metairie, La.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
