Estelle Brownlee Williamson

Estelle Brownlee Williamson, 85, of Laurel, died Thursday, April 15, 2004, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Oakland Grove Baptist Church in Jones County with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Jones will officiate.

A homemaker, she was a member of Oakland Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Oscar and Ida Brownlee; husbands, Elmer Eidson, J. W. Webb and Vernon Williamson; sons, Elmer Eidson Jr. and Raymond Eidson; grandson, Kenneth G. Broadway; seven brothers, Austin Brownlee, Sim Brownlee, Woodrow Brownlee, Aden Brownlee, Vardeman Brownlee and Buddy Brownlee; three sisters, Adelle Davenport, Martha Jones and Katie Kelley.

She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, William O. and Patricia Eidson of Houma, La., Charles and Janet Eidson of New Albany, and Mark Webb of Laurel; two daughters and a son-in-law, Rachel Broadway of Laurel and Kaye and Earl Mitchell of Northport, Ala.; one daughter-in-law, Debra Eidson of Vossburg; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Michael Eidson, Reggie Mitchell, Joe Eidson, Matthew Eidson, Kyle Eidson, Charles Eidson and Justin Wade.

The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m., Sunday. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m., until 7 p.m., today at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, which is in charge of arrangements.
