Mrs Estelle Cundiff Burt

Estelle Cundiff Burt was born December 18, 1914 in Seagoville, Texas. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on February 12, 2008 in Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fran Burt, parents John and Mentie Cundiff, brothers Arthur, Ottis and Virgil Cundiff, nieces Jerry Griffin Crawford and Olya Jean Flemmons. Survived by nephew, Ronald Cundiff and wife Marsha, great niece D'Ann Bohrnstedt and husband David and their sons, Cory, Tyler and Brady and great niece Dawnie Jackson and husband Brad and many beloved friends.
Estelle was born and raised in Seagoville, Texas and lived in the home she was born in until 3 years ago when she moved to Summerville Retirement Community in Dallas. She was a proud employee of Gulf Insurance Company until she retired after 35 years of service. She was a life long member and served as church hostess of First Baptist Church of Seagoville which her father helped found over 100 years ago. Estelle loved her family and friends and they loved her. She will be dearly missed and always remembered.
Services 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 21, 2008 at First Baptist Church of Seagoville, 108 E. Farmers Rd., Seagoville, TX with interment following at Lee Cemetery in Seagoville. Visitation 6-8:00 P.M. Wednesday at Roselawn Chapel, 1000 S. Highway 175, Seagoville, TX.
