BROWNWOOD (RNS) -- Mrs. Marvin (Estelle) Flowers, 73, died at 5 a.m. Friday in Brownwood Community Hospital after a sudden illness.
Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in Davis Morris Chapel with the Rev. Joe Priddy and the Rev. Loyd Benton officiating.
Burial will be in Jenkin Springs.
Born in Brownwood Oct. 15, 1898, she was a lifelong resident of Brownwood. She married Marvin J. Flowers in Brownwood on Dec. 12, 1917. He preceded her in death. She was a member of Jones Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Nadine Weidner of Brownwood, Mrs. Joy Nell Underwood of Burleson and Mrs. Jeanette Gober of Blanket ; two brothers, Lester Kirksey of Brownwood and Geofry Kirksey of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Taylor and Mrs. Bettie Curry, both of Brownwood ; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
