ESTELLE SCROGGS SCHEIDEL
Estelle Scroggs Scheidel, a retired packer for American Sugar Refinery, died Wednesday at her home. She was 78. Mrs. Scheidel was born in Fort Necessity and lived in Metairie for the past 30 years. She was a former member of the Jubilees.
Survivors include a daughter, Fannie Boudoin; three brothers, Clinton Scroggs and Horace and Eudice Evans; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held today at noon at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Roch Cemetery No.2.
