Ethel Parker
Services for Ethel Parker were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 2,
1999 in the Friendship Baptist Church with Revs. Joe Thornton and
Kenneth Tarver officiating. Burial was in the Friendship Cemetery under
the direction of Edmonds, Winnfield.
Mrs. Parker, 86 of Winnfield died Tuesday, August 31, 1999 in Winn
Parish Medical Center. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, James ``Cornie'' Parker and wife Margie of
Sikes, LA; three sisters, Myrtis Catanese and Bertie Cicero, both of
Shreveport, LA and Florence Parker of Sikes, LA; two brothers, Junior
Erskins of Winnfield, LA and Waymon Erskins of Sikes, LA; two
granddaughters, Brenda Byington of Chattanooga, TN and Sandra Rachal of
Dry Prong, LA; one grandson, Gary M. Parker of Dry Prong, LA; two great
grandsons, Jeremy Brossette and Mitch Parker, both of Dry Prong, LA and
one great granddaughter, Nola E. Parker of Dry Prong, LA.
Pallbearers were: Jeremy Brossett, James E. McDaniel, Doug Parker, John
M. Parker, Mervin Parker and Dana Rachal.
