ETHEL EVELYN COX

COALGATE -- Miss Ethel Evelyn Cox, 65, died Wednesday in a Coalgate Nursing Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church of Coalgate.

The Rev. J. W. Wilcox, Bristow, will conduct the services and burial will be in Coalgate Cemetery. Slater Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Miss Cox, a spinster, was a retired public school teacher. She taught for the most part in Coal County and was a graduate of East Central State College.

She was born in Coalgate Oct. 27, 1903. Her parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Cox.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Etta Jackman, Miami, Okla., and Mrs. Iva Sprague, Coalgate; two brothers, Eddie Cox, Coalgate, and Bruce Cox, Tulsa; five nephews and four nieces.
