Ethel L. Weatherford
Ethel Lena Weatherford, 86, of 4614 Pardue Road, Pineville, died at 5:10 a.m. Friday in Rapides General Hospital.
She was the widow of James W. Weatherford of Pineville, the Rev. Claude M. Weatherford of Turkey Creek, and Charlie M. Weatherford of Tioga; five daughters, Annie Thornhill and Lorine Thornhill, both of Tioga, Christine Huff of Houston, Betty Frye of Yuba City, Calif., and Eva Edwards of Sulphur; 35 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Paradise Baptist Church, Pineville, with the Rev. Wade O. Cummings officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park under direction of Hixson Bros., Pineville.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today and at the church after 2 p.m. Sunday.
