Mother Of Mrs. Collins Succumbs; Buried In Minden

Mrs. Ethel Kelly, 61, died Monday in a Winnfield sanitarium after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Winn Parish, and was the daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. W. R. Taylor of Joyce. She has resided in Winn Parish until 1941 when she moved to Minden.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in a Minden funeral home with the Rev. Leslie Hunter and the Rev. L. L. Clover officiating. Burial was in the Minden Garden of Memory Cemetery.

Survivors include three sons, J. E. Kelly of Saline, H. L. Kelly of Vallejo, Calif., and R. H. Kelly of Bonifay, Fla.; five daughters, Mrs. W. H. Collins of Calvin, Mrs. O. R. Long, Mrs. Clark McLemore, and Mrs. R. B. Pearson of Minden, and Mrs. J. R. Moreland of Houston; two brothers, James A. and Armory [sic Armon] T. Taylor of Shreveport; three sisters, Mrs. J. W. Wilkerson and Mrs. Austin Jordan of Winnfield and Mrs. Bertha Tarver of Pineville; and 28 grandchildren.

Mrs. Kelly had been a resident of Autumn Leaves Nursing Home since August.
