VICKSBURG -- Eugene G. McCarty, 64, died Thursday at Mercy Hospital here after a short illness.
He was a native of Richmond [sic Richland] Parish, La. and for the past several years he had been caretaker for the Tri-County Hunting Club in Issequena County.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Glenwood Funeral Home with burial in Masonic Cemetery at Delhi, La.
Survivors include his wife; a sister, Mrs. Maggie Williams, Bastrop, La., a brother, E. W. McCarty, Eagle Lake Community; a half-brother, J. H. Sikes, Monroe, La. and several nieces and nephews.
