Eugene F. Tips

EUGENE F. TIPS, M.D. passed away on August 15, 2007 at the age of 88 from Alzheimer's disease.

He was a native of Seguin, Texas and a WWII veteran. Gene was the loving older brother to James, Thomas, and Victor, and was predeceased by his brother, Charlie.

He practiced Psychiatry in Houston for 40 years, a calling that he revered. He was devoted to his children Stephanie Thurston, Summer Alston, Gene Alston Tips and Conrad Tips and to his granddaughter Lydia. Gene was a healer, philospher, teacher, poet and lover of life. He was a gentle man who will be missed.

Friends and family are invited to attend a gravesite service on September 1, 2007, 3:00 p.m. at San Geronimo Cemetery, 1620 E.Walnut, Seguin, Texas.
