Eugene T. Stroud
Services for Eugene T. “Gene” Stroud will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Hixson Bros., Pineville, with the Rev. Jimmie Pyles officiating. Graveside services and burial will be at 2 p.m. in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Winnfield.
Stroud, 81, of Pineville died at 10:50 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 1994, in Rapides General Hospital.
He was a native of Winnfield and a member of First United Methodist Church, Pineville. He was employed for 27 years as a field maintenance mechanic for Mobil Oil Co.
Survivors include his wife, Ida M. Stroud of Pineville; one son, Gary T. Stroud of West Monroe; one daughter, Brenda G. McCarty of Pineville; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of services Friday in the funeral home.
