Death on Shanty Boat.

Thibodaux, La., Nov. 22. -- E. W. Holly, a man about 65 years of age, died yesterday morning at Raceland. The old man was domiciled on a shanty boat, and from papers on his person it was ascertained that he had a daughter in Nebraska, who has been apprised of his death. Being without money, the good people of Raceland raised a fund by subscription and gave the old man a respectable burial.
