WHITTINGTON, EULA HOWELL
On this day of our Lord Sunday, April 25, 2004, our loving mother and grandmother has gone home to join her beloved husband, Leroy Whittington. A homemaker, she was 90 and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge. She was a native and former resident of McComb, Miss. She was a member of First Baptist Church and D.O.W. Bible class.
Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Graveside service at Hollywood Cemetery, McComb, at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Ricky Kennedy.
Preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. David W. Howell; two sisters, Ruby Howell Boyd and Hazel Howell Boyd; and three brothers, Lucious Q. Howell, Willie A. Howell and J.D. Howell.
Survived by her daughter, Karen Farr and husband Dr. A. James ``Jim'' Farr; two grandchildren, Allison Farr and Reagan Farr and wife Jessica; a sister, Louise Howell Humes and husband Charles; and many nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to all the nurses, doctors and aides on the sixth and fifth floors at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. We want to acknowledge especially Dr. Karen Miller, who nurtured and enhanced Eula's health for 20 years.
