Mrs. Euna Watkins

Funeral services for Euna Watkins, 81, were held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 10, 1992 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Forest, MS. Rev. Lee Dolloff officiated. Interment was made in the Kalem Cemetery, Morton, MS.

Mrs. Watkins passed away on Thursday, October 8, 1992, at the Scott County Nursing Home in Morton, following an extended illness. She moved from Rt. 1 Morton and lived in the Scott County Nursing Home for the past month. She was a native of Leake County and was a member of the Caroline Presbyterian Church in Madden, MS.

Survivors include her husband, Hayward Watkins, Morton, MS; four daughters, Mildred Killen, Vicksburg, MS, Peggy Shannon Watkins, New Orleans, La, Elizabeth Pauline Pharr, Flora, MS and Mary Jane Chaney, Little Rock; three sons, James Harrell Watkins, Vicksburg, MS, Mike Juniors Watkins, Morton, MS and Sam Watkins, Pelahatchie, MS; one sister, Edna Foy, Alabama; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Pall bearers were Michael Killen, Bobby Wallace, Rick Wallace, Howard Watkins, Richard Watkins and Darren Espes.

Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest was in charge of the arrangements.
