Graveside services for Lee Raulins Smith will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Pollock Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Willis officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of John Kramer & Son.
Lee Raulins Smith, 88, resident of Tioga for 50 years, passed away Monday, March 29, 2010 at her residence.
Mrs. Smith was an Alumni of Louisiana Tech. She was employed by Southern Bell Telephone Company during World War II. Mrs. Smith enjoyed genealogy and gardening, and she loved her family, her neighbors, her friends, and her cats. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Pineville.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Sibley J. Smith, Sr.; her parents, Eunice Lee and Joe N. Raulins and one sister, Josephine Raulins.
Lee Smith is survived by her four children, Lamar Smith and wife, Mary of West Monroe, Scott A. Smith of Ball, Dannie Lee Schafer and husband, David of Columbia, Missouri and Sibley J. Smith, Jr. of Basking Ridge, New Jersey; six grandchildren, Jacob Lee Smith, Casey Raulins Smith, Matthew Kyle Schafer, Dylan Michael Schafer, Jennifer Lomax and Laura Fairbanks.
