Eunice Lucille Hatten Womack
(February 12, 1929 - June 12, 2009)

Eunice Lucille (Hatten) Womack, age 80 of Sikes, passed away Friday, June 12, 2009, at Winn Parish Medical Center. She was an active member of the Hart Assembly of God Church in Sikes. She was a Sunday School Teacher and Missionette Teacher for many years. She always drove her van through Sikes and gathered up many young children for church. She held the church christmas program for many years and also used her talent of singing with her good friends, Sister Lee Bell Erskins and Sister Delores Harper as the ``Trio''. Her church was her life.

She is the daughter of the late Wayne ``Pistol'' Hatten and the late Thelma (Beavers) Hatten. She was also preceded in death by her husband Karl L. Womack and a son Terrance Leo Womack. Mrs. Womack is survived by her three Daughters, Rita (Womack) James and husband Bennie of Winnfield, La., Barbara (Womack) McCarty of Sikes, La., Rachel (Womack) Crosby and husband David of Bossier City, La., two Sons, Karl Lane Womack and wife Delynda of Sikes, La., Kenneth R. Womack of Sikes, La., four Brothers, Lyndal Hatten and wife Jean of Monroe, La., Glen Roy Hatten and wife Geraldine of Sikes, La., W. F. Hatten of Sikes, La. and Troy L. Hatten and wife Reitha of Winnfield, La.. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, Kevin Womack, Karla (Womack) Pheiffer, Traci (James) Canterbury, Scott James, Toni (James) Parker, Leah (McCarty) Clingan, Paul David McCarty, Brock McCarty, Susie (Womack) O'Bryan, Klint Womack, Terry Womack, and Rebecca Crosby and twenty one great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 Monday, June 15, 2009 at Hart Assembly of God near Sikes with Reverends Kevin Womack, David Womack and Danny Green officiating. Interment will follow in the Wright Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Friends may visit with the family in the church on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 8:30 a.m. until time of services.

Pallbearers will be: Scott James, Terry Lane Womack, Paul D. McCarty, Brock McCarty, Klint Womack, and David Crosby.
