Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Lincecum Campbell, 80, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, at Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings, with Rev. Darrell Hieronymous officiating.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4:30-10 p.m. today, Friday, and from 9 a.m. until time of services on Saturday.
Mrs. Campbell died at 9:24 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, at Jennings American Legion Hospital.
A native of Trout and a resident of Roanoke for 40-plus years, she owned and operated Ruth's Coffee Shop in Jennings for over three decades. She was known as the ``Biscuit Queen.''
Survivors include three daughters, Sandra Hargrave and her husband, Jerry Sr., of Roanoke, Carla Cormier and her husband, Bobby, of Welsh and Sharon Taylor and her husband, Steve, of Jennings; three sons, William Campbell and his wife, Maudry, of Donaldsonville, Tommy Campbell and his wife, Julie, of Roanoke and Ronnie Campbell of Jennings; her step-children, Elnore White of Nederland, Texas, Farrell Campbell of Pollock and Ara Leonards of Bunkie; 16 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, T. Reynolds and Ella Viola Taylor Lincecum; her husband, Mr. Ira A. Campbell; a grandchild, Hayley Campbell; and her step-children, Jim Campbell, Edwin Campbell, Barrett Campbell and Elridge Campbell.
Pallbearers will be Ben Cormier, Ronnie Campbell, Ira Campbell, Stephen Campbell, Curtis Campbell and Josh Campbell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Vincent Alcantara and James Verret.
