Mrs. Eva Smith

WISNER -- Funeral services for Mrs. Eva M. Smith, 78, of Wisner, were at 10 a.m. today in the Riser and Son Funeral Home chapel in Columbia with the Rev. Lavelle Enterkin officiating.

Burial was in Catahoula Cemetery in Enterprise.

Mrs. Smith died Sunday at Franklin Parish Hospital after a brief illness.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Clarence Rayborn of Wisner, Mrs. Jewel Parker of Pineville, Mrs. H. A. Hines of Alexandria and Mrs. J. W. Searcy of Natchez, Miss.; five sisters, Mrs. W. T. Smith of Columbia, Mrs. Cammie Tarver and Mrs. Cloa Enterkin, both of Jena; Mrs. Eunice Poole and Mrs. Dessa Poole, both of Enterprise; two brothers, Johnny McVay and Arthur McVay, both of Enterprise; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were William Baxter, Jim Colvin, Harry Goode, Wayne Driver, Charles Rayborn and Edward Kemp.
