Eva Mae McCarta

Funeral services for Eva Mae McCarta, 71, of Winnsboro, will be held today, Wednesday, May 20, at 10 a.m., in the Chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Copenhagen Cemetery, with the Rev. Floyd Hawthorne officiating.

A native of Columbia, she was born March 9, 1916. She was a housewife. She died on Monday, May 18, 1987.

Survivors include one son, Carey McCarta, Winnsboro; three brothers, John Wesley Jordan and Walter Jordan, both of Columbia and Milford ``Bill'' Jordan, Winnsboro; and one granddaughter, Teresa Kay McCarta, Newellton.
