Eva Heitzman

Auburn-area resident Eva Mae Heitzman died Oct. 24, 2001, in Napa. She was 76.

Mrs. Heitzman was born Aug. 13, 1925, in Texas. She had lived for the past 26 years in the Auburn area. A nurse by profession, she was a volunteer pink lady at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital for the past 15 years. In her spare time, she painted and traveled to Reno.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Auburn's Chapel of the Hills. Private inurnment will be in the New Auburn District Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made to the Auburn Faith Hospital Auxiliary.

Mrs. Heitzman is survived by a daughter, Linda Wohler of Vallejo; a son, John Ferguson of Vacaville; sisters Lavele Bishop of New Mexico, Ruth Neetles of Arizona and Iva Tucker of Vallejo; a brother, Bill Moore of Texas; and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Heitzman was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond in 2000.
