Evelyn Lee (Breithaupt) Tarver, 87 of Jena, Louisiana went home to be with the Lord Sunday, December 22, 2013.

She was born Wednesday, March 31, 1926 in Jena, Louisiana, to the union of Anthony Isaac and Effie Estelle (Venable) Breithaupt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Virgle Leroy “V.L.” Tarver, Jr., a daughter, Diane (Tarver) Bolton, and her sister, Hazel (Breithaupt) Corley.

Those left to love & miss are her two sons, Keith Tarver & wife Nelda of Jena and Dennis Tarver & wife Norma of Shreveport; a daughter, Sheri Aline (Tarver) Goolsby & Pete Gautreau of Gonzales; her brother, C. Kenneth Breithaupt & wife Lil of Jena; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Honored to serve as pallbearers, Donnie Bolton, Guy Neil Campbell, Skipper Buckhalter, Ed Corley, David Smith, and Roger Dobbs.
