Evelyn Allen

Evelyn Emmons Allen, 59, of Pine Bluff died Feb. 9 at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center.

She attended Joe T. Robinson and White Hall Schools and was a member of the 28th Street Church of Christ. She did volunteer work with the Girl Scouts and served as director of Camp Taloha. She worked in the Dollarway School District.

Survivors include her husband, Oscar Earl Allen; a son, David Allen of Pine Bluff; a daughter, Kellie A. Pennington of Sherwood; her mother; three sisters, Tina McHughes of Alexander, Kay Harrington of North Little Rock and Tonya Farkas of Baltimore, Md.; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were Feb. 12 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with Mr. Edgar Dye officiating. Burial was in Cypress Memorial Gardens.
