Evelyn W. Scott

Evelyn W. (Lovey) Scott, 82, of Meadville, died July 18, 2003,at Franklin Memorial Hospital.

Visitation is 5 to 9 tonight at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville and continues 10 a.m. Monday at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church until services there at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Scott was born Jan. 18, 1921, in Amite County, the daughter of the late Henry and Sheddie Lenoir Waller.

She was a homemaker and member of Eddiceton Baptist Church.

Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Scott; two sisters; two brothers; and one great-grandchild.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Joan Scott of Meadville and Ernest Ray and Beverly Scott of McComb; grandchildren, Tyler and Darby Scott and Jessica Curtis of Meadville, Tara Scott Price of Summit and Melanie Scott of LaPlace, La.; and seven great-grandchildren.
